- Whose voice am I actually hearing when I say "I should do X"?
- If this rule disappeared tomorrow, what would I actually choose?
- Who benefits from me continuing to believe this?
These questions are uncomfortable on purpose. The discomfort is the point — it is the friction of an inherited rule meeting genuine inquiry, possibly for the first time.
Awareness First, Action Later
You do not need to throw out every rule you find. Many are worth keeping. The goal is not rebellion; it is authorship. You stop being run by patterns the moment you can name them.
